Childhood Cancer Parents Alliance

Marketing and Fundraising Support

“…highly versatile asset to the team.”

Childhood Cancer Parents Alliance (CCPA) is a small midlands-based charity working with families and other organisations to support families whose children have a cancer diagnosis.

CCPA was looking to build its revenue from fundraising but recognised that its Operations Manager, Rachael, was stretched: working with families, fundraising and trying to grow relationship with businesses and community groups.

As the charity looked to develop its fundraising, marketing and PR activities Danells and Bewley Consultants offered a flexible, creative and enthusiastic alternative to appointing a new member of staff.

Amanda now works closely with Rachael in addition to delivering marketing support growing engagement with supporters, as well as developing, planning and implementing exciting fundraising projects such as the Pop-Up Shop, Gold Ribbon Ball and the TeamGold running team.

We give practical support with running events and campaigns and have been successful in recruiting new donors and volunteers. D&B also supports the charity with digital and traditional media content marketing: managing their social media platforms, writing and publishing newsletters, executing digital email campaigns, as well as the production of traditional printed marketing collateral.

Abby White, from the Board of Trustees for CCPA says “Amanda has worked extensively with CCPA. We initially appointed her to work with Rachael on partnership development and event management for the 2016 Gold Ribbon Ball.

Her project management skills, efficiency, insight and dedication led us to expand our collaboration. She has refreshed our tired website, energized our social media communities and other communications, and helped Rachael expand our corporate connections and community fundraising programme. Amanda has excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Her broad knowledge and experience make her a highly versatile asset to the team. Her support is invaluable.”
